Fascinator
I found one I like! Others were either too small or too big, this one is nice. Yay! I think I have my outfit complete! Work can now be done...dum dum DUM!
College Day Outfit.
So I have the main part of my outfit sorted, the above (although butterflies are slightly different on mine) with my lovely Calvin Klein black heels. BUT the accessories are causing me some trouble! :P So, help? Firstly we all want to wear fascinators (I did introduce this whole idea...so when I say we all I mean I want to and have got the others to) but it's a choice...and I suck at choices, do I go for pink, black, champagne? Big or small? I don't know! And secondly...what colour do I paint my nails?
Black? Emerald Green? Grey Suede? Papaya (it's scented)? Hmmm...all this outfit planning is rather distracting! :P

Happy 25th Anniversary!
With all my work and Easter meaning everything was closed I failed to send you a card to get to you on time/failed to send the card. So you get a photo of it! (For now...so that it's kind of like you got it on the day...yeah?) Happy 25th Anniversary my lovely parents! I hope you have a wonderful day!
And to remind you of the wonderful (and not so wonderful...hehe... :P) children you have a cute picture from South Africa...see I managed to keep up with my Pub quiz photos AND make it fit with wishing you a Happy Anniversary! :D
Love you both!!!
Love you both!!!
PS: I'm obviously the wonderful child.
PPS: Guess which word I managed to spell wrong in the title...Happy. Apparently it's not spelt Haapy.
My escape
Drawing is my escape. I don't make much time for it, and recently, whilst drawing, realised how calming I find it. My brain sort of switches off, everything is good again, there are no worries.
I've been feeling awfully stressed today. I know I am to blame, I could have some how worked more earlier...I feel like I've worked non-stop, but I know it's not true, I've had days off, I've sat around incapable of working...if I'd worked then i wouldn't be quite as stressed as I am now. Am struggling with my essay due this Wednesday. I have 2000words...but I don't think any of them get close to what the question is asking...and then when thats done I need to do a dissertation and a 4000 word Maths Project. And despite having considerable research for both, I feel an overwhelming pressure of having to get them done in 1-2weeks.
All my comfort people have been inaccessible today...so I've not really been able to offload my stress, so it will have to be here, with a picture of my escaping art.
4.5weeks until I'm done with essays and exams. Thank God it's so soon. I'm fed up with this whole business.

Procrastination?
Sundays are our Pub Quiz evenings. We all meet up at the Pub to do a quiz, it's a nice little third year tradition. Easter Sunday, a.k.a. yesterday, there was no Pub Quiz, which meant perfect procrastination! I MADE a quiz, loosely based around my little life for everyone to do as a kind of birthday thingy. Hehe. I really should have worked but quiz making was way more fun, and who knows...it could be a handy skill! The quiz we go to now starts with a picture round, followed by one round of 7 questions, a music round of 7 questions...always have to name the composer/singer/group, a beer round of 7 questions (which doesn't count towards the score...but you can win a round of beer), two more rounds of 7 questions and then a General knowledge of 10 questions. I followed this pattern. :)
My picture round was pictures of me (so self centred) in different countries, they had to allocate the countries with the pictures. I was nice, I gave the the countries...would have been REALLY hard otherwise. SO since I am now in the possession of some photos I thought I could prolong my procrastinating by sharing them, by country...and then eventually I can share the questions...I am awesome and finding ways to distract myself.
Todays country: England!
People had trouble guessing this one was England...it look Chalet like apparently. The one above above was apparently also tough (they were my two England pictures for the round). :)
Eee. I did help by telling people where I'd lived and how old I was when I moved to those places...still caused confusion...but it was definitely a lot of fun! :)

101 Dreams - Dream 5
Dream 5 - Visit Barcelona.
I'd love to visit Barcelona. There are a lot of places I'd love to go...like everywhere, but if I put them all in my 101 dreams I wouldn't have any space for other dreams :P It does look so gorgeous! And it's in Europe and I love Europe.

I noticed a lot of the dreams I have ready to share with you are early on in my list, because they are all places or things easy to find photos to go with...and I feel the need to add some kind of visual with my dreams. :P So that you can see what I see in my head when dreaming about them. :)
(all from weheartit.com)
Got lots of work to do. 2 essays and a dissertation. Hehe...15,000 words, totally doable. Working on my 3000 word essay today, it's the first thing due when I get back, don't know why I didn't start work on it earlier! Oh well! :P I have had some gorgeous days whilst not working, like yesterday...had a lovely picnic by the river, then some Thorntons ice-cream...spent 4 hours out in the sun enjoying myself with some lovely people. I do hope it's memories like that I take away from my degree...:)
When work an essays start to annoy me I like to remember the little quote: Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Summer joys
When I say summer joys...I mean pretty pictures of the Magnolia tree. Seriously, the most awesomest thing to photograph. Makes me happy. I kind of wish I had more time this summer to get out, take photos, enjoy Geneva...but these essays really won't write themselves...despite how much I try and make them do so! So to distract myself a bit (since I think I may have finished an essay!! :O what? Shhhhh.) some lovely photos of FLOWERS! AND GORGEOUS BLUE SKY!!!
Big day tomorrow! :O
(Above is my new desktop background)
Oh yeah...and can anyone say: PIMMS! Omg, yum! So excited it's Pimms weather again. Miriam? Adrienne? Pimms whilst studying? :PBig day tomorrow! :O

Peruvian Connection - Love
We found their most recent magazine lying around the house (I say that as if we came across it, we searched for it!) and GAR I love the outfits. It's not just the individual items, it's how they put them together in an outfit AND the individual items. :) Here are some I love the tops and the whole outfit.
I will stop with the Peruvian Connection posts now, and try and find some other Birthday wish list things to update with. :) 21 this week.
Have a lovely day!

Peruvian Connection - Cardigans
The weather has been SO gorgeous these last few days. :) And the magnolia tree is looking equally beautiful. We are enjoying sitting outside with coffee or Pimms and watching the birds and squirrel.
On to more lovely wish list items from Peruvian Connection.
Bandar Pima Cotton Cardigan - £95 (for the evening)
Pima Cotton Paisley Cardigan - £98 (for the day)
There is also a nice Mint Velvet cardigan at House of Fraser. Not as lovely as the Peruvian Connection cardigans, but worth mentioning. :)
Back to essay writing.
Peruvian Connection - Coats
Baby Alpaca Boyfriend Coat - £339
Coats...mmm...from Peruvian Connection too. I don't know why I don' browse their website more often (apart from the fact that it's expensive), their stuff is so me. Pair it with jeans and trainers (or cool boots) and voila a Kt outfit. Hehe. I have more stuff to share from them later, but todays post is about my 3 favourite coats. I think the first and third and more me, but the one just below does look nice. :)
Peabody Coat - £343
Retablo Sweater Coat - £149

Bobbi Brown Wish list
It's my birthday in a week so I thought I'd start sharing all sorts of little (and large) things I'd like for my birthday. I don't expect to get most of them (I do have expensive taste), but I thought it would be nice to share. :) Todays wish list is based around my favourite makeup brand: Bobbi Brown. LOVE her stuff!
EXTRA SPF 25 Tinted Moisturising Balm - £33 (SPF 25, moisturiser and foundation...sounds pretty amazing. I'm not a foundation fan, I think I only used it when I was like 9 and it came as a free gift in a shop, and wasn't my colour, BUT this sounds lovely!)
Everything Mascara - £18 (the name makes it seem so perfect!)
Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara - £18 (I can't decide between the two...)
Treatment Lip Shine SPF 15 - £17.50 (In a nice natural pinky colour, and maybe also a nice natural deep red colour. :P)
Lip Balm - £12.50
Eye Makeup Remover - £15
Hydrating Face Cream - £34 (I'm running out of the one I have)
I haven't done much work today, and I have LOADS planned...so I should maybe get a move on, but pff. :P Despite the HUGE stress I feel over essays, dissertation, visas...life...I manage to sit around doing very little, but do get a surprising amount done...it's awfully confusing!
Anyhoo, theres this new way to view blogs and I don't know if views know about it without being told. SO, check it out here. It's all my blog posts set out mosaicly, I like it, makes me life look happy and interesting!
Have a lovely afternoon!
