Apparently they don't

(my drawing of a Honey Badger)

There is apparently an awesome video about Honey Badgers on youtube in which "they don't care". We were informed of this quite a bit on our trip to South Africa by certain Gosper boys. It seems they were right. Whilst visiting an animal rehab centre we got to see some Honey Badgers...and according to the guy taking us around they constantly try to escape and attacker his boss. They don't care. The centre introduced the male to a female, the first the the male does? Push the female against the wall and try and use her as a way to get over the wall...

Sun Downers

The Sun Downer was offered at Thonga beach for a maximum of 8 people an evening. Since the parents all went the first evening we decided to have a 'kids' Sun Downer. The idea is to go to a lake nearby in which Hippos live, to watch the Hippos as the sun sets with a drink. Unfortunately, on our trip we saw no Hippos (although we did hear a few and were informed they were maybe 40-50m away...reassuring knowledge) and there was no Gin...so James and I couldn't have a G&T's...they remembered to pack tonic though! But I think the sunset may have made up for those facts. I hope you agree too. I was beautiful...but freezing, you may enjoy it more from the warmth of your homes. :P
I believe the photos are in order...although I'm not 100% on the last three, but it was spectacular. :)

Some Holiday Photos

Hello!! Some photos from the first part of our most amazing holiday to South Africa. :D
An awesome African proverb on the wall at Lesedi, in the Ndebele tribal area where 'the kids' stayed. :)

Now TSHUKUDU!!! :D Our favourite Safari Game Park! James now loves it too. :)
Impala, we see impala EVERYWHERE! They are the MacDonald's of the bush, around every corner, with and M on their butts.
We walked with cheetahs. Savannah's cubs. Unfortunately Savannah died whilst the cubs were still young, so they have become used to humans by being looked after humans. One of the cubs was rejected by Savannah, and so is a little more "tame" than the others. We now walk with four cheetahs instead of one. We're so cool.
Pretty Lilac-breasted Roller.
Giraffes! My new favourite animal. I LOVE taking photos of Giraffes, they are so awesome looking. :)
Red-beak Hornbill. They are so cool.
The Cheetahs. :) Much love.

More photos to come soon.

South Africa!!!

Internet is a rare thing in the locations we choose to visit in South Africa, so although I'd love to give a regular update on our awesome goings ons, it may be very hard to do so. :)

I will be having an awesome time though. And I hope you will be too.

Much love.
