Saturday in Paris

Photos from our first day in Paris. We had a little rest on the really short walk to the Pompidou to watch some men trying to sort out some balloon decorations. :) It was very enjoyable and made both of us very happy I think. I really like the photos I got too. Apparently there was some kind of LGBT parade later that day in Paris, which might explain why all the bars and clubs were decorating their outsides with rainbow flags and balloons.

We got to the Pompidou, and OMG...eeek...heights. We went to the Galleries, which weren't that inspiring, but they are at the top top top. The escalators up were on the outside, and eeeek. But the view was nice, but scary.
The main exhibition was female artists. Something to do with maybe because they aren't as represented in the Art world or something...but there wasn't much that was inspiring. I think the Pompidou was definitely better last time I went. Here are the few things I found cool.

So, I kind of like football when it comes to the World Cup and Euro. :) Hehe, and I kinda hate the Italian team, cuz they cheat and are arrogant. :P And the Italians I know are SOOO annoying about the Italian team. I was also not to happy with France this year, so am VERY happy they both ended up bottom of their groups. :) Yay!!!

Bye bye France, bye bye Italy.

ENGLAND!

England...somehow, managed to make it through the group stages! eeeee! Time to tidy my room (which I reorganised) and then pack. :)

I need to...

Pack, that's probs the most important thing I need to do. Get my clothes to dry would also be good. Tidying my room too, I really want to rearrange my room, but I have the feeling I am not going to be happy whatever I do with it...urgh! My stupid little head. But yeah. Pack. I need to at least sort out what I want to pack. I go so soon, and I have so much to do...it's scary, but exciting! :D

Went for a walk.

Will came round with strawberries and chocolate. Mmmm. Whilst we waited for the chocolate to cool we went for a walk. I didn't realise there were nice walks near our house. Hehe. After seeing a marching band yesterday and not having my camera I felt I had to take my camera on the walk, and am very happy I did. :D Was a good thing Miriam and Will had each other to talk to whilst I took photos. :P

Very pretty. :)

Switzerland lost. :( I will get over it. They played well. Just a shame, ho hum. Back to organising and tidying my room.

Doodoodooo

I bought some sandals yesterday. I was doing fine with trainers in the British summer, but I wore a pair of shoes that gave me a blister in a place that all my shoes seem to rub so I needed some backless shoes. They are super pretty and comfy too. :) I got a dress too. I am hoping to wear it more than I wear other dresses I buy. :) Hehe. It's also from Monsoon and also super pretty. :) All African looking, I like the kind of African look. I don't think I could do a whole wardrobe full of it though. Shopping update done.

We have a bbq today. For Adrienne and Pat's belated birthdays. It should be fun, the weather isn't too bad and out tiny garden looks like 1000000 times better than it did at the beginning of the week. :)

Stuff I feel I need to do but feel like there is no time in the world to do:

-Tidy my room

-Send a package

-Pack! (OMG!!!)

-Pick modules for next year.

-Get my results back...I don't want to, stupid Linear Algebra!

-Make a pro/con list for PGCE courses

-Meet PGCE guy

-Register for modules

-Live

-Do lots of washing

It's not that much...but it makes me feel like it's a lot. Hehe. Not knowing what day it is most of the time doesn't help either! :P Time to get working on this list! Toodles.

Botanical Garden

Botanical Garden Photos!!! :D It was so lovely and sunny and the flowers were pretty. I was so happy. I think most people have things they like to photograph, some like people, some like nature. I LOVE nature, and buildings and anything not a person. I like people, just not to photograph. Hehe. Yeah, anyways. Here are my favourite photos from the day, I seem to like two photos very similar to each other...hehe, shhh. Hope they make you happy and calm. :)

Switzerland won, against Spain, 1-0. Oh my!!! :D I am very happy. :D Eeeee! :D

We went on a picnic today, so I missed the match, was actually a little shocked to see the score, but also very happy. :) I took loads of photos of flowers at the botanical gardens today so will share lots of lovelies with you tomorrow. :D

Work in the Garden.

We did some weeding/pulling out of grass in our garden. But before all the long grass was gone I took some pictures of Rogue in her prettiness and of the pretty snail we found. :) The garden looks significantly better. Hehe. Good days work.

Stupid toilet...

...Our toilet started running water into the tank continuously, making that really annoying flushing noise for ages. I got tired of it so went to look. I was hoping someone else would earlier cuz I'd managed to creep myself out about there possibly being someone else in the house...I managed to scare myself like that a lot. Anyways, the noise was too annoying. So saw it was leaking, and the water wouldn't stop flowing in, but didn't know what I could do about it so put a jar under the leak and closed the door so the noise wasn't as loud. That's just not enough for me though, so I googled. Hehe. Google is so handy. I found some stuff about how toilets worked, went and investigated and as they had said the floaty thing wasn't floating up enough, so I screwed on this float that we had in the tank...I assume it should have always been screwed on, so either we've been doing it wrong or it came off. But yeah, silence...ah tis so nice.

My hand feels dirty though, even after washing it lots.

Time to get some sleep.

The rainbow fish?

I used to love the rainbow fish, it was so pretty. We made our own rainbow fish once, with special shiny paper to make the pretty scales. :) The rainbow fish is so pretty, and a lovely story. :)

3 weeks!

In 3 weeks, just 3 weeks, omg so exciting that it's in 3 weeks, I will be in Australia again. WITH JAMES! Yaaay! :) I am very excited, like I may just cry excited! :D Eeeeee!

In other news I went to the "sports festival" with Adrienne and Victoria to play in the 3v3 tournament, for basketball of course. The organisation was...ur not so good. Hatfield and Castle did a lot of organising and making sure everyone played their games. We lost all of ours, although I am pretty convinced we won one...but oh well. Played Trevs, they are still really annoying and I would not be upset if they all broke their legs of something, yeah. Was happy that the other teams found them and Josh incredibly annoying too, I was thinking maybe we were being harsh because they just messed us about this year, but no, they are just urgh! But it was good exercise, and good fun. :)

I just sent out e-mails to schools in Australia for Volunteer work. Makes me feel all excited! And grown up! :P

If I ever...

Blogger has new templates, so I changed mine to the pretty one you see now. I really like birds, they seem so free and calm. :) The ones on the template remind me of how if I ever had a tattoo I would want it to be birds. Pretty birds like these.

More specifically I would like some like these ones, they just look prettier to me.
It's not really something I am seriously considering as I am way too scared of needles and it's so permanent, but I like day dreaming about art and this is arty. :P :) Thought I would share.

Yesterday...

We went to the MetroCentre yesterday. Was fun but not at the same time. Spent most of it with Miriam because Sasha and Pressi kept wondering off to different places and then just disappearing and then reappearing. I love Kookai stuff and Zara. Stupid clothes being so pretty! I really really liked the shirt with the chains in the background, was only in size M, which didn't quite fit. Oh well! :P

We were on our feet for...waaay too long. My legs and feet were so tired! I think Miriam and I just sat around from as soon as we got home. Hehe.

Planning on doing nothing today. :D Good times. :)
