Update

Internet has been a bit iffy on my computer. We thought it was because of my McAfee, but not too sure now. However, have changed from Firefox to Google chrome, something to do with safer I am not sure, I just trust my dad.

I'm not sure if it's Blogger updating itself, or something weird Google chrome does, but I can no longer rearrange my images in my updates...which is slightly annoying, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. :)

As I am still looking through the not so many photos I have taken over the past few days I thought I would leave you with some pretty pictures. :)
Lanterns with fairy lights seem so magical! :)

I still need to post the rest of the cool buildings list, and am thinking of maybe posting about all sorts of goodies I'd love for my birthday if money was not a limit, since it is my 20th soon!

Cool Buildings 20-11

James occasionally does lists of top 20's, and he often asks me what his next list should be on. Knowing he is interested in architecture and interesting buildings I thought he could do a list on the the top 20 most interesting buildings. I quite liked the list (although he does have a slightly different opinion on what interesting is when it comes to buildings :P) so I thought I would share the list with you, starting with 20-11. :)

20. Kansas City Public Library - would have put this much higher on the list! :P

19. National Architects Union Headquarters, Romania

18. Grand Lisboa, Macau

17. Nord LB Building, Hannover

16. Guggenhein Bilbao, Bilbao

15. Lippo Centre, Hong Kong

14. Lotus Temple, Delhi

13. Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth

12. The Crooked House, Sopot - Makes me think of the nusery rhyme.

11. Stata Center, Cambridge MA
I'll post the top 10 sometime soon. :)

I want to collect...

Cameras. They are so cool. I would love to take time out to learn how to use all sorts of different cameras properly, although I would be quite happy just to experiment with them. I would definetly like the time to go on walks in all sorts of places and take photos. :)

I will start a collection some day.

Spring

I love spring! Like uber love srping, like so much I can't wait for it. :D
My essay is done! :D I got over 2,000 words. Hee, and I handed it in on time. I am not overly convinced it is the best I could have done, but it is definitely an essay! :P I am rather bored now though, because there isn't much to do now my work is done...hmmm...anyways. I looked up some pretty pictures of springness, thought I would share. :)

Being yourself.

"We try so hard to be different, and forget to acknowledge the glow that' already making us shine." -Unknown

I did a personality test, the Myers Briggs, and have been getting friends to do it, and we all believe it is very accurate so I though I would share. If you want to do the test youself you can do that here, and if you then want to read about you personality type I recommend here.

I am a ISFJ: Quiet, kind, and conscientious. Can be depended on to follow through. Usually puts the needs of others above their own needs. Stable and practical, they value security and traditions. Well-developed sense of space and function. Rich inner world of observations about people. Extremely perceptive of other's feelings. Interested in serving others.

Another work filled day.

weheartit.com

My little bird has got to wait another day! I have 910 words of notes, hopefully this time that means 910 words, for my last essay I had over 1000 words of notes, but I repeated myself A LOT. Hehe. I've got quite a bit about identities with different cultures, and people called "translations" because they live abroad from their homeland and so their culture and values have been translated, and then also stuff about globalization possibly being americanization since there is not global equality between race, gender, age, etc. but more a world orientated and governed by white, middle aged, upper class, male, Westerners. I also have an interesting example about Switzerland and how it could be an example of what we should aim for since it has four unique identities and cultures all living under one uniform identity and culture. Still got a lot to do, I'm not sure how to piece it all together yet, so better get working!

Sorry to anyone who read that thinking it would be fun and cheery!

Busy Day

Today I will be busy reading books on globalisation and identity, eating at Burger King and going out to a Basketball St. Patricks Day Social! :) Busy times indeed. So I thought I would just drop by and say hi before I hide myself away to get things done. :)

I promise when the essay is done, and I have more time I will start posting more with pretty things again. If not for the people who read this then for me, because it makes me happy. :)

What to wear...

I do dislike having to choose what to wear because I am sometimes in that mood that makes me hate everything. I also tend to buy somthing, love it for about a week and then decide that it is either to loose, too tight, to dark, to light, to casual or to nice. It annoys me just a little, but it's hard to change the way you think. Depsite this I do love dreaming up outfits, and looking at them, probably because when I put them on me in my head I have a body like the models, so everything looks great. So yesterday to take a break from reading about globalization I looked at some outfits on various websites (Zara, Promod, IKKS, Kookai, Morgan de Toi, and Free People). Here are the outfits I like, and might wear, some I would definetly wear and others are pretty but I am not too sure. :)
Sorry for the overload of pictures. :) Back to work it is for me.
